"Special" Ed, has been playing guitar for The Jazz Pharaohs since 1996. Ed's performance career includes many years work as a free-lance musician, jazz artist, and guitarist in numerous orchestra's playing for top-name celebrities such as: Natalie Cole, Rosemary Clooney, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis and many more. As well, with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Arts in Music from California State University. Ed has held positions in teaching as a music instructor and administration as Chair of the Music Departmen at Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe. Ed is a guitarist in high demand in a wide variety of venues in the Austin, TX area. He is currently working with Martin Banks as a freelance guitarist and the National Touring Act, The Jazz Pharaohs.
