Seela has been a regular addition to the Jazz Pharaohs' happy hour at the Elephant Room for over six years. She has also accompanied the group at performances such as the Kerrville Folk Festival, Clarksville Jazz Festival, Blues on the Green and many club and private gigs. In 1996, Seela sang with the Bethuane Big Band in New York for the National Music Association. A songwriter herself, Seela attributes her intentionally subdued singing style to her influences, which range from Anita O'Day to Craig Ross. She is currently working on her second album of original material with her pop band aptly named Seela.
