Martin Banks, a featured guest trumpet player for The Jazz Pharaohs has extensive performance and recording experience to add to his credit. He has performed with Big Band Greats such as: James Brown, Duke Ellington, Dexter Gordon, Roland Kirk, Ray Charles, and B.B. King (only to name a few). Martin performed in the first Broadway productions of "Hair" and Off-Broadway show "Ain't Misbehavin" in New York City. In addition he has been a member of the house bands of Motown Records (Detroit), The Apollo Theater (New York) and Walt Disney World (Orlando). His recorded work includes films such as "Box Office", "Cotton Comes to Harlem, "Notorious Landlady", and "Target of Corruptors."
